How to become a DIY Auto Club member
Joining the DIY Auto Club membership program is simple: register for an account on the DIY Auto Labs website. Even with the free tier, you become a club member and can access the program's available benefits.
You can upgrade your membership at any time by purchasing one of the paid membership plans. Paid plans include a one-time setup fee, a monthly subscription, and pre-included hours that can be used toward any eligible booking.

Open the online booking calendar and reserve your desired time.

Save at checkout
At checkout, your membership discounts and any available hours loaded onto your DIY Pass are applied automatically.
Good to know
When does membership expire?
Membership does not expire as long as your DIY Auto Labs account remains active. Free members remain club members while their account is active.
Paid memberships require a one-time setup fee and an ongoing subscription. As long as the subscription remains active, you keep your selected membership tier and its associated benefits.
You can upgrade your membership at any time. An upgrade does not require paying the setup fee again; you only pay the applicable subscription amount for the new tier and receive its corresponding benefits.
Are there extra discounts for shop products?
Paid members receive additional discounts on eligible products and services available through the DIY Auto Labs online store. The store displays the applicable discounted prices based on your membership tier, so your savings are visible before you complete your purchase.
I'm a legacy DIY Auto Labs Club member. What happens to my membership and prepaid hours?
All legacy members are automatically transferred to the free membership tier. Any remaining prepaid-hour balance is transferred to a new DIY Pass and remains available for redemption toward vehicle booking time.
For a limited time, legacy DIY Auto Labs Club members can subscribe to one of the paid membership plans and receive up to $100 off their subscription. The applicable discount is applied when subscribing.
How do I redeem hours toward a booking?
- Open the online booking calendar.
- Select your date and book the number of hours you need.
- If you have an available DIY Pass balance, those hours are automatically applied to your booking at checkout.
Prime Time
Friday, Saturday, Sunday and selected US national holidays are Prime Time. The surcharge depends on your membership plan and is always shown before you confirm a booking.
